Mount Pleasant Residence

Work completed while employed with Botanica Design. 

This project showcases how to transform a lawn space into an aesthetically functional space. We bring indoor living space outdoors. Using reclaimed bricks to create a visual interest that contrasts with the house while allowing the space to be used as a dining area when needed. Break the formality of the original layout, add planting pockets, and landscape features like boulders, which allow you to immerse yourself in a garden space. The space now has its beauty and functionality all year round.
